Hamlet

I remember reading Hamlet in high school. After it was over the teacher showed us a play of Hamlet done in one minute, it was amusing. I’ve searched the internet in hopes of finding this video, but to no avail. Instead, I’ve found a few other videos that sum up the plot in 60 seconds or less, like the one above from Famous Last Nerds.

This lead to other videos, and finally to 60 Second Recaps, which is quite brilliant, they sum up stories in 60 seconds, not just plots, but the different themes that run through the stories. It’s fun to watch.

Now I want to watch The Lion King …

Can you live in 90 Square Feet?

Felicia Cohen shows us around her microstudio.

This makes me think of my stuff. Do I have enough stuff to fit into this space? Or is this space too small for me? First off, I don’t think I can EVER live in this space, not because I have too much stuff, but because I’d have to give up my dream of owning a library. I want a library. I want a place where I can have my books and have my solitude. I can’t imagine not having books around me. Even though I have a kindle which has close to 200 books on it, I still can’t imagine living without physical books.

If my books weren’t allowed, I think I could fit, but I would never do this. Why pay about $700 for such a small place when it’s not necessary?

Julian Smith – YouTube Genius

When I heard Julian Smith‘s song, “I’m Reading A Book”, I knew that I had to subscribe to his channel. I mean, hello! this song is practically my anthem. That, and it’s hilarious.

I suggest checking him out, especially if you want a good laugh.

Personal cards

I’m not a fan of business cards. I always forget that I have them so I don’t give them to any one. Then there is also the fact that I don’t use other people’s cards when I get them. I mean, the idea is a good one, here is my contact information on a tiny piece of paper, use it. However, I always forget that I have them, then I never use it.

Yet, I recently created my own cards. They aren’t business cards but personal cards. It has my name on the front and on the back it has a QR code.

[this one]

You scan it and it takes you a website with my social sites. I’m not sure I’ll ever use them, but I suppose it’s good to have. The funny thing is, I really only created them so that I could use the QR code. What’s that? I’m a nerd? Yeah, I know.
